Soré Agbaje is a Nigerian-American spoken word poet and activist who gives language to marginalized experiences. The internationally acclaimed poet views poetry as a means of narrative justice. Soré has toured Germany and Austria, sponsored by the Munich Council of the Arts, and performed in Copenhagen for the Women Deliver Conference. She has performed for Adidas in their "Don't Be Quiet Please" campaign in conjunction with Pharell Williams and the US Open. Performances include The Met, the United Nations, the Embassy of Canada, Yale University and more. As a Teaching Artist, Soré wields poetry to approach discussions around social issues, facilitating workshops at the Brooklyn Museum, BBC, Kate Spade New York, Commission on the Status of Women, Sierra Club, Global Health Corps and more.
